Per the Constitution and Bylaws: The names of all candidates for elected office in this Local shall be named from the floor at the regular January meeting of the Local. The members nominated for office must be active and present at the meeting in which the nominations are made; provided that any absent (active) member who submits a letter to the Secretary requesting nomination to an office.
