Brothers and Sisters,

I am writing to inform you of an Executive Board meeting that was held on Friday, 9/11/2015. The purpose of this meeting was to fill the position of Local 30 President. The Executive Board has the responsibility under our Constitution and Bylaws Article V, Section 9 to elect a successor to fill a vacancy due to a resignation in the middle of a term. 

Your Executive Board elected Christopher Haynes to the position of President. The Board subsequently had to elect a member to the position of Vice President. The Board elected Charles Anderson to the position of Vice President. Lastly, The Board elected Michael Francis to the position of Treasurer.

The actions of the Executive Board under Article V, Section 9 filled the Principal Officer positions. This leaves an Executive Board member position vacant at this time.

Historically, a vacancy to the position of Executive Board Member is posted. Any member in good standing shall be eligible for consideration. Your Executive Board is requesting that interested parties notify the Secretary in writing as soon as possible. This vacancy must be filled within thirty (30) days to be in accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws. The position must be filled by October 11^th. We look forward to hearing from you.
