Don't play with matches!

In case of a fire, it is important to learn how to exit each room in your house. The whole family should practice an exit drill. Plus, you should have an escape plan ready, including a place to meet outside the house. And never stop to get something, just get out immediately!

Every home should have a fire extinguisher, and every member of the family should learn how to use it.

If you are in a burning house, do not open a door that feels hot! If there is heavy smoke, get down on your hands and knees and crawl low to the nearest exit.

Use the stairway to exit a burning building, not the elevator.

Come visit your local fire station.
